We test backflow devices for private residences, commercial sites, fire sprinkler / plumbing contractors and property management companies in the Lower Mainland.
Backflow Testing We conduct all of our testing in compliance with CSA Standards B64.10-11/B64.10.1-11 We are certified by the BCWWA (BC Water & Waste Association) We are licensed in many areas of the Lower Mainland, and we carry full liability insurance. Our testing equipment is calibrated for accuracy every year as required by the Province of British Columbia TESTING RATES We charge a minimum fee for testing at any one address. We will confirm our pricing when you schedule an appointment. The price we quote is the price you pay. We require payment in full when the testing is completed and we will not submit any completed test forms to the local water purveyor until we are paid in full. We keep all original test forms in a secured location, and you will receive a copy of the completed test forms with your receipt. |
If we can fix it, DON'T replace it!
Backflow Repairs Most often, devices fail due to debris stuck in the inner parts of the device. We can usually clean these inner parts and the device will pass. However, debris may cause damage to the internal parts and these parts will wear over time and may need to be replaced. Note: All failed devices must be repaired and put back into service within 72 hours of failing by law. However, we may be able to make a special case to the local water purveyor if a part is not locally stocked and may be delayed. REPAIR RATES We bill in one hour increments. We charge for cleaning devices and replacing parts. Emergency call minimums apply. We stock repair parts for some current and common devices, however we do not stock every part. If we need to locate a replacement part off site at one of our suppliers, we may charge for that time. PAYMENT
Our preferred method of payment is E-transfer, Cash or Cheque. If you’d like to pay by credit card, we’re more than happy to accept payment this way with a standard 3.5% processing fee.
